Oktoberfest Lager Wins Gold

Before we even got the wort from the mashtun, we thought we struck gold with our 2009 recipe for LSB Oktoberfest Lager. Well, the judges at the World Beer Championships confirmed it by awarding our Oktoberfest a Gold Medal. Read all the details here.

March 11-13 – Bockfest at Fitgers

Join us for Duluth's annual festival to ward off the stubborn winter. Just a couple of our Split Rock Bock beers will have you feeling like it's summer on the lakeshore. Well, at least in your cheeks they will. Be sure to get your SBR poked and carmelized at the fire pit. Also, become a fan on our Facebook page for a special Bockfest promotion. March 13 – Beer Tasting at Haskell's

For Twin Cities LSB drinkers, we've got a beer tasting on tap for you. We're still working out the details on which location, so check back here or on our Facebook page soon.

March 20 – Firkin Fest at The Happy Gnome

St. Paul's Happy Gnome asks, "Are you ready to get your firk on?" Well, are you? We are. That's why we're sending a few firkins down for this annual bacchanal. One's filled with a special batch of our Special Ale dry-hopped with Minnesota-grown Cascades, while the other features a limited edition German dark ale brewed personally by the brewery's owners. For desert, we've brewed up a batch of Sir Duluth Oatmeal Stout infused with cocoa nibs. Yum! For details and tickets The Happy Gnome site.

March 26 – Taste 2010 at Fitgers

One again, we'll be strutting our stuff with over 40 local restaurants and other purveyors of fine foodstuffs in this functional taste of the Northland. Proceeds benefit local hunger relief programs, so let your thirst help feed the needy. Find more event info at the Fitgers event site.

April 10 – Gitchee Gumee Brewfest in Superior WI

The Northland's biggest brewfest turns 13 this year. Make it a lucky 13 by dropping by our booth for a sip of your LSB favorites, plus a surprise or two. Full details on this year's fest can be found at www.ggbrewfest.com.
