June 12-13 – Olde World Renaissance Faire

Join us for this annual rite of summer out in beautiful Twig, Minn. The Faire will feature "grand dragons and whimsical unicorns, jousting knights on noble steeds, medieval music and entertainment, trade merchants, historic education, games of skill, and delicious foods all nestled together in a beautiful secluded meadow." We'll be pouring our customary "four humours" (Special Ale, Kayak Kolsch, Mesabi Red and Sir Duluth Oatmeal Stout) plus our special Brikenhaus brew - a dark and sweet but crisp delight. Jun 20 – St. Paul Summer Beer Fest

Perhaps sent from heaven for a second year, St Paul Summer Beer Fest will feature craft brews from more than 70 breweries - including ours. This outdoor festival will feature unlimited beer sampling, a commemorative tasting glass, live music, food, a silent auction, and "the fun atmosphere of Midway Stadium." Kudos for Kolsch from Draft Magazine

While it may be a long way to spring here in the Twin Ports, that didn't stop Draft Magazine from selecting our Kayak Kolsch as one of its spring beer recommendations. Our brew rated a 93 - the highest among the story's featured Kolsch-style beers. Check out their review here.

Oktoberfest Lager Wins Gold
